Quality of Metropolitan State College of Denver?

I wouldn't let something like this bother me. You have a good job; ergo, you ARE successful. Metro State has quite a good reputation in Denver, and if you're going to apply to graduate school to, say, UC Denver, it shouldn't matter at all that you graduated from Metro State. As far as social situations are concerned, you cannot escape it. A lot of people are ignorant about lesser known schools, so do not worry because of their ignorance. You'll be fine. Don't try to compare Metro State with other Colorado schools because you'll only be falling into the trap of feeling insecure and looking down on other 'smaller' schools. You do not want to become like that. It doesn't matter if you graduated from Boulder or UCD or Metro State or Adams State or Community College of Aurora - if people look down on you for what college you graduated from, they're being pretty silly. Do not become like them, and continue to enjoy your job and your success.
