Many people seem to like the paintball markers ion, Is there any news about the spyder mr2?

Any pro/con information about people's favorite paintball markers would be helpful. Not brand loyalist with no weight behind their opinion though. The Ion's seem to be more expensive then the spyder mr# series, yet they fire less per second and so forth. Tippmans have the cyclon thing going for them, but can anyone pull a trigger 15 times per second? The fastest i've seen is about 8 or 9 times a second for trigger pulls. So, what's so unworthy about the spyder mr# series?
