What's a crash cymbal good for a basement band? One that's not overpowering and good for a rockin' sound?

We're going to be playing some gigs at some small places and maybe a few outdoors. I want a crash that's good for like, crashing throughout an entire chorus without overpowering the other musicians. We play a mix of rock/alternative rock. (Paramore, Cage the Elephant, Queens of the Stone Age, etc.)
