What French Film!!!!!?

Its a French Film from the 1970s maybe possibly by JL Godard but i'm not sure. It is about two people discussion fascism while in a dark setting of a black room which is supposed to be a TV. It uses strange sounds and artistic shots and images with writing on them to reach the audience....WHAT IS IT CALLED!?!??! Thank you sooo much I just can't figure out the name!!
